Established in 1998, CD founder Josh Babetski did freelance web development under the name TaxiCafe Media. During this time, the company worked on a number of online community projects and early social networking tools.
A 2001, side project for an online mystery/scavenger hunt for a motion picture became the predecessor to CollectiveDetective.org and our focus began shifting toward social, collaborative, and entertaining applications.
